SMS Terms and Conditions

These SMS Terms and Conditions govern text messages sent to or from our office SMS number (806) 391-7363. Program description
SJB Law Firm’s SMS program is for transactional / informational appointment communications only, including:
– Appointment confirmations and reminders
– Requests to reply YES or NO to confirm attendance
– Short follow-ups confirming we received your reply
We do not use this number for marketing, advertising, promotions, or third-party offers.
Who messages come from
Messages are sent by Stockard, Johnston, Brown, Netardus & Doyle, P.C. (SJB Law Firm) only. Consent is to this firm alone. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data with affiliates, lead generators, or other marketers for their own messaging.
How you opt in (consent)
You opt in when you (or someone scheduling on your behalf) provide a mobile phone number to our office for an appointment or matter—by phone, in person at our Amarillo or Borger office, by email, or when our staff records your number on a calendar booking—and you are told (or these Terms and our SMS Privacy Policy disclose) that we may text you about that appointment.
Consent disclosures include that:
– You will receive transactional SMS from SJB Law Firm at (806) 391-7363 about appointments and related scheduling
– Message frequency varies; typically 1–4 messages per appointment
– Message and data rates may apply
– Reply STOP to opt out; reply HELP for help
– Consent is not a condition of hiring the firm or receiving legal services

Providing your number for scheduling, or replying to an appointment text, constitutes your agreement to these SMS Terms for that transactional program.
Message frequency, rates, and delivery (cellular and Wi-Fi)
Appointment SMS may be delivered over cellular or Wi-Fi (including Wi-Fi calling / Wi-Fi messaging where your carrier and device support it). Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless plan and whether you are on cellular data or Wi-Fi.
Message frequency varies. Most appointments involve a small number of messages (often 1–4). Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless plan, whether messages arrive over cellular or Wi-Fi.
Opting out and help
– Reply STOP to cancel further SMS from this number. You may receive one final confirmation of your opt-out.
– Reply HELP for help, or call Amarillo (806) 372-2202 or Borger (806) 273-9500.
– You may also ask our staff to remove your number from SMS appointment messages.
Prohibited content / use
Do not use SMS to send unlawful, abusive, or highly sensitive case materials unless our office specifically asks you to. SMS is not a substitute for secure client portals for confidential documents.
No third-party marketing
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers who help us send and receive texts (for example, our SMS platform) may process messages only to operate this program for SJB Law Firm.
Changes
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use of SMS with our office after an update means you accept the revised terms.
