When you text with us or we text you, we may collect and store: – Your mobile phone number – The content of messages you send to or receive from us – Message timestamps and delivery status – Appointment details you confirm or decline by text (for example, YES / NO replies) We obtain your number when you give it to our office for an appointment or matter—including by phone, email, calendar booking, or in person.
How we use SMS
We use SMS only for transactional / informational office communications, such as: – Confirming or reminding you of scheduled appointments – Asking you to reply YES or NO to confirm attendance – Related scheduling follow-ups (for example, confirming we received your reply) We do not use this SMS program for marketing or promotional advertising. Message frequency: message volume varies; typically a small number of messages per appointment (often 1–4). Message and data rates may apply.
Opting in
Consent is given by saying yes when asked to receive transactional SMS from SJB Law Firm at (806) 391-7363 about that appointment or related office scheduling. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of hiring the firm or receiving legal services.
Opting out and help
Reply STOP to opt out of further SMS from this number. You may receive one final confirmation of your opt-out. – Reply HELP for help, or call our Amarillo office at (806) 372-2202 or Borger office at (806) 273-9500. You can also ask our staff to remove your number from SMS appointment messages.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your phone number or SMS content.
