Terms and Conditions
Last updated: November 3, 2026
Welcome to www.sjblawfirm.com (the “Website”), operated by Stockard, Johnston, Brown, Netardus & Doyle, P.C. (“SJB Law Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Texas law firm with offices in Amarillo and Borger, Texas. These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Website. By using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
No Legal Advice
The Website provides general information about our firm, our attorneys, and the areas of law we practice. Nothing on the Website, including our practice area pages, blog posts, news articles, and frequently asked questions, is legal advice.
Every legal matter depends on its own facts, and the law changes over time. Some content, including older blog posts, may not reflect current law or may describe the law of another state. Do not act, or decide not to act, based on anything on the Website without first speaking with a licensed attorney about your specific situation.
No Attorney-Client Relationship
Visiting the Website, calling our office, sending us an email, or submitting our contact form does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship with Stockard, Johnston, Brown, Netardus & Doyle, P.C. is formed only when the firm agrees to represent you and that agreement is confirmed in a signed engagement letter.
Until we have formally agreed to represent you, do not send confidential information through the Website or to any email address listed on it. Information you send before an attorney-client relationship exists may not be treated as confidential, may be used for the benefit of the firm’s existing clients, and does not prevent the firm from representing another party in the same or a related matter.
Deadlines and Urgent Matters
Legal claims are subject to strict deadlines, including statutes of limitations. Contacting us through the Website or by email does not stop any deadline from running and does not obligate the firm to take action on your behalf. If your matter is urgent, such as after an arrest, call our Amarillo office at (806) 372-2202 or our Borger office at (806) 273-9500 instead of using the contact form.
Consultations
We offer free initial consultations for certain practice areas. Whether a consultation is free depends on the type of matter. Meeting with one of our attorneys for a consultation does not by itself mean the firm has agreed to represent you.
Case Results and Client Reviews
The Website describes past verdicts, judgments, settlements, and client experiences. Every case is different, and the outcome of any matter depends on its own facts and law. Past results do not guarantee or predict a similar outcome in any future matter. Amounts described may not reflect attorney’s fees and case expenses.
Client reviews reflect the personal experiences of the individuals who wrote them. They are not a promise or prediction of how any other matter will be handled or resolved.
Attorney Licensing and Advertising
Our attorneys are licensed to practice law in Texas, and the Website is intended for people seeking information about legal matters in Texas. We do not intend to solicit clients or provide legal services in any jurisdiction where our attorneys are not authorized to practice.
Benjamin D. Doyle is Board Certified in Insurance Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Unless a page says otherwise, references on the Website to an attorney’s practice areas, focus, or experience describe the work that attorney does and do not mean the attorney is board certified in that area.
The Website is considered attorney advertising under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct. Attorney responsible for the content of this Website: J. Daren Brown, Amarillo, Texas.
